Second Movie Review
I recently saw a little known movie, An Education, the other night and found it to be a little gem of a movie. Although the subject matter may be offensive to some, the move was enchanting and the star Cary Mulligan was adorable and real.
The movie is set in 1961 London, coming-of-age story, set around an intelligent and sweet 16 year old who unwittingly falls for an older man. He charms her parents into letting him take her on trips to places she longs to see and introduces her to a world that she could only dream of. She is working hard to get into Oxford but her plans change as she falls in love with this older man.
The movie is filled with wonderful music and beautiful period clothes. I was lucky to find this movie playing in my local movie theater. It may be hard to find, but watch for it on DVD.

Health Care Paluzza
Somewhere along the way this nation took a turn off the path set by our founding fathers and we are headed to the abyss. I hate to be a gloom and doom person, but I have watched this travesty unfold for the last 14 months. Many people were hoodwinked into voting for a man who has proven to be as corrupt and inept as half the people in this nation knew him to be and did not vote for him. Now they, and we, are going to reap the rewards of higher taxes, more government control and socialism.
The Democrats are not a party of compassion but a party of evil hiding behind the facade of compassion. They have kept minorities in bondage by not letting them out of the ghettos and now they want to spread the wealth around so we will all be in bondage . Soon there will only be the poor and the very wealthy. No more middle class which is the backbone of this nation. The future for the next generations looks bleak. I pray that there will be a miracle and we are set on the righteous path again.

Spring is Almost Here in the Texas Hill Country
The days are getting warmer and the tress are slowly blooming. It seems the world is a big shaggy bear waking from it's long winter sleep. This has been a winter of snow in the Hill County, not the usual winters here but once every ten years or so is... okay! Thanks mother nature!
I have not had plants in sooooo long that every garage sale I go to I buy pots to plant them in. I am so optimistic that I can make them grow. Plastic is and has been the norm for me in the past, but I am feeling like one with mother earth for some reason and hope that my little fledglings will grow.
